Leg Gels

The advances in the formulation of therapeutic gels has seen a huge increase in their use. Most make good use of natural ingredients such as Arnica and Witch Hazel to counteract bruising and swelling and even MSM as a natural anti-inflammatory. Some are more powerful and have strong alcoholic astringent bases to help tighten ligaments and tendons. We have a good range including our popular own label Witch Hazel & Arnica Gel  and NutriScience's StayTite Gel  that contains no astringents and is suited for use on sensitive horses or where skin is broken. Most gels can be used with or without bandaging and can be used on larger muscle areas like shoulders and backs -  but it's always advisable to test the sensitivity of your horse first.
