Of the products that we've found over the years Sealskinz has to be one of the best finds. They simply do 'what it says on the packet!' - they're 100% waterproof and thermal.  All the Sealskinz gloves have four layers:  an inner liner, thermal membrane, Porelle waterproof membrane and outer fabric most with leather palm. They strike that difficult balance between having enough fabric to be warm but not so much bulk you can't do anything in them.
