Moody Mares

Mares are very rewarding to ride and train when they're co-operative and on your side. However, if your mare is constantly in and out of season, aggressive and temperamental then life can be hell! Veterinary medicines such as Regu-Mate are an effective help, but expensive and not ideal for longterm use. There are a few alternative natural products, notably containing Liquid Chaste Berry, that can do the same job. Here we list them. Mares can also be sensitive in their back/loin area, especially when in season, so discomfort from the saddle must be eliminated before supplements can work.
